Executive Support Officer to the Managing Director SkyCity Adelaide is currently looking for an experienced Executive Support Officer with a strategic mindset to support our Managing Director and ensure the smooth operation of the executive office.
About the role Reporting to our Managing Director Adelaide, this role extends beyond traditional administrative support, and requires a strategic mindset and a strong understanding of corporate governance, particularly within a highly regulated industry such as gaming. The Executive Support Officer will be responsible for preparing and reviewing board agendas, drafting and distributing board papers, and managing all logistical aspects of board meetings. This role will be instrumental in facilitating governance processes and ensuring all documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. The Executive Support Officer will also manage complex scheduling and prioritisation of tasks, ensuring the Managing Director's time is optimised and engagements are effectively coordinated.
In addition, this role will act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and handle sensitive communications and coordination with various stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements. The Executive Support Officer will represent the Managing Director with professionalism and credibility, possessing a deep commitment to confidentiality and discretion.
About you The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Administration, Law, or related fields, coupled with extensive experience supporting executives or C-suite, preferably in the gaming or hospitality industry. Prior experience working in highly regulated environments and possessing an understanding of regulatory compliance is also a must, along with experience with corporate governance and board administration.
You will have an excellent ability to develop strong relationships and possess strong stakeholder management skills that facilitate a high level of trust between external and internal stakeholders, coupled with the below strengths:
