Executive Support Officer (Grade 5/6) - NSW Government ContractImmediate startInitial contract through to 28/2/25 with view to extend and potential for other opportunities within the departmentWollongong locationFull time on site, 35 hours per week$45 - $55 per hour + superPrevious experience in a similar role within a Government environment is highly regarded, SAP experience is beneficial and strong diary management skills requiredThis NSW Government department within the emergency services sector is seeking an Executive Support Officer for a temporary contract with the possibility of extension and potential for ongoing opportunities.
We are looking for candidates with high level administrative experience particularly supporting at an executive level and ideally within a Government environment.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assess and prioritise requests to facilitate the optimal use of the executive's timeReviewing documents and correspondenceManage the Executive calendar/diary, information flow, records and correspondenceCoordinate travel arrangements, and schedule and support meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agendaDraft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notesGather, collate and provide background information for the executive to support informed decision making and planningMaintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service deliveryBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSkills and ExperienceExceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesHigh level diary management experienceExcellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively and efficiently, both verbally and in writing, with a strong eye for detailProven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalismDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentTech savvy with experience across a number of systems and software, experience using SAP is highly beneficialPrevious experience within a Government organisation in a similar role is highly regardedFor further information or interest in the role, please email a copy of your resume to Brooke Dover at ****** CLOSING SOON!Please note, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
