6 months + possible extension $57.43 + super per hour Queensland Government Cannon Hill The Role This large QLD Government Department is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their team.
In this role, you will develop, deliver and manage a range of executive and administrative support services to support the SEQ Operations Director.
Your duties will include: Manage and maintain executive support systems and office procedures, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the office, including: Diary management for the Executive Director Inbox management Organising travel arrangements Research and the preparation of routine correspondence and actioning of emails Management of office equipment (e.g., repairs/replacements) Organise meetings as required, including the preparation of agendas and taking of minutes.
Support the coordination and preparation of correspondence and enquiries from ministerial and corporate entities to ensure timeliness, and quality of responses.
Undertake strategic, complex and sensitive projects as directed Coordination and monitoring of reporting such as: Briefing Notes Ministerial Business Cases/Submissions Business Planning HR Reporting Y ou The successful candidate will have experience in a fast-paced administrative position.
You will be able to demonstrate the following: Proven experience in an Executive Assistant/Executive role High accuracy and high attention to detail High level of confidentiality Intermediate to advanced MS Word and Excel skills SharePoint knowledge advantageous Prior government experience is highly desirable, however not essential Excellent communication skills Apply To be considered for this position, please apply below with your CV and cover letter in Microsoft word format.
