Exciting opportunity for an Executive Support Officer to join the Department of Health!
The Role: Provides high-level administrative and executive support to the Executive Director - Medical Services (EDMS) South, including providing adaptive and confidential executive support and undertaking a diverse range of projects as required.
You will need: Demonstrated high level planning, organisational and coordination skills, particularly in the provision of executive support in a demanding senior management environment.Analytical, organisational and investigative skills, together with the ability to interpret and analyse information, think critically, solve problems, identify relevant issues and recommend or decide on appropriate action within a senior management environment.High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present meaningful and accurate reports and documents and the proven ability to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of clients in a sensitive and confidential manner.Highly developed professional interface abilities performed with confidence, diplomacy, poise and dignity which is representative within a senior executive, client focused, team-based environment.Well-developed computer skills with demonstrated experience in using Internet/Intranet products, word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets and database computer software packages, with a high level of accuracy and independence.Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $79,529 - $91,517 per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
