The Executive Secretariat Officer is responsible for the provision of high-level administrative and secretarial support to the National Executive of RSL Australia, including the management of workflow, correspondence and support of the National Board and associated National Committees.
The successful applicant must:
have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Secretariat Officer or similarhave the knowledge and experience to organise, prepare, collate, and disseminate appropriate papers for meetings, inclusive of agendas, briefings, minutes and other documents as requiredhave proven and well-developed minute-taking skillshave sound knowledge of MS Office and AI programs - Access to MS Co-Pilot provided.have experience with Board Effect software or similarhave proven excellence in verbal and written communicationbe able to work proactively and autonomouslyhave sound time management skillshave proven attention to detail with the ability to edit papersunderstand the requirement to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationbe a highly collaborative and inclusive team playerhave a proven ability to multitaskand adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.Desirable
Experience in the Not-for-Profit sector would be highly regardeda working understanding of Board governance requirements and responsibilitiesKEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under general direction, the Secretariat Executive Officer will provide a high level of administrative and strategic support to the senior executives and the National Board and other National Committees as required, which includes but is not limited to:
Act as the Secretary for the National Board and other National Committees as required;Contribute to, and assist with, effective communication between the Executive and internal and external stakeholders;Respond to enquiries made to the Executive and direct enquiries to appropriate staff;Manage office correspondence;Assist in the production of the Annual Report;Assist with key projects and initiatives across the wider business as required;Perform other duties as required by CEOTO APPLY
