This person comes equipped with experience and a strong understanding of the production best practices but with a desire to take on new challenges and do things differently. They are an enthusiastic, proactive, creatively driven leader that fuels the process and means for the creative offering with Buck.They should have the ambition and mindset to keep up in a fast-evolving landscape, and be connected to the industry players. They are responsible for business development, account growth, client satisfaction, prioritization of deliverables, and ensuring the quality of work meets client and company objectives. They should have varied experience working directly with brands, and history working with agencies is also a plus. They will also be fiscally aware of their office and region's success and work with the global EP team to ensure they are balancing the right opportunities to be sustainable both financially and creatively.Responsibilities:Have a thorough knowledge of the sales & production process, as well as the industry in generalRecognize emerging strategies, trends, and pitfalls and develop plans accordinglyHave deep relationships to seek out new client opportunities within Australia and Asia Pac - the ideal candidate would possess a solid contacts list within the industry locally, interstate and/or internationallySeek out, vet, and understand new opportunities. Synthesize the ask and dispel information for coordination with the necessary team members, with the proven ability to quickly ballpark budgets across a range of creative disciplines as neededClient facing and act as the key intersection between client teamsWork closely with producers across all projects, to guide them through challenges and provide mentorship and growth opportunitiesMaintain expected profit margins on projects, on brands, for the office, and for the companyBuild close partnerships with BUCK's creative team and develop production plans that allow team members to create the best creative work in the worldAlways strive for the highest level of output through execution and craftAlways maintain a solutions-oriented perspective and recognize that very little is "impossible"Acts as a leader and part of a team. Be a beacon of positivity and enthusiasm and provide guidance and direction - working closely with Head of Production to maintain and facilitate Buck process and pipelinesBe future-minded towards the growth of the companyRequirements:8+ years in leadership roles such as Executive Producer, Senior Producer, or Head of Production, preferably within animation, production, or agency environmentsIn-depth understanding of local markets is essential, with a demonstrated history of driving business development and nurturing client relationshipsThis position is based in Sydney; candidates must be able to work from our Sydney officeMaternity coverage position, available for a 6-12 month fulltime contractPlease note that this role requires directly related experience.
