Are you ready to provide high-level administrative, strategic, and operational support? We're seeking an individual to play a pivotal role in supporting the National Manager Population Health & Wellbeing and team to deliver key portfolio priorities.
As an integral member of the team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of best practice processes and strategic projects. Your diverse skill set will foster effective stakeholder engagement, collaboration across projects, and successful achievement of our organisational vision and objectives.
Responsibilities

Collaborate to develop, implement, and monitor strategic and operational initiatives, projects, and organisational priorities.
Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic, collaborative, and consistent best-practice approaches across the portfolio.
Create, review, and refine various communications (emails, reports, submissions, presentations) aligned with Heart Foundation policies and strategy.
Support the coordination and preparation of internal/external meetings, representing the Heart Foundation when needed.
Contribute to the development of Heart Foundation policy and advocacy from both a national and local perspective.
Assist in planning and executing events, including preparing presentations and speeches or managing event logistics.
Support operational and administrative functions within the Northern Territory office.
Monitor and track budget expenditures for the Population Health & Wellbeing portfolio, ensuring accountability through regular updates and reports.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, mentoring teams and supporting cross-functional initiatives.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Strong communication skills with the ability to foster collaboration across all organisational levels.
A background in fields such as public health, social services, business management, advocacy, or public relations.
Proven skills in administration, project management, and time management.
Ability to build trust and positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Understanding of cardiovascular health and related social, economic, and political factors.
Sound judgement and agility in solving complex, strategic challenges.
