About The Role As the Executive Officer – Performance and Communications , reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the role is responsible for providing a range of high-level executive, secretariat and project support services to the Executive. These services include providing strategic advice, managing communications, and implementing strategies to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic and operational objectives, as well as day-to-day leadership to a team of professionals responsible for the delivery of communications, marketing, digital functions, community engagement, and corporate planning and reporting.

Key Responsibilities Provision of high-level communications and correspondence including briefings, reports, media releases, submissions, and notes. Implementation, monitoring of, and reporting on strategic, operational, and project plans. Leading special projects as referred by the Chief Executive Officer. Leading the wider team in the delivery of these projects. About You This is an Executive level position and as such we are seeking a highly motivated individual with well-developed leadership and communication abilities, who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for the community of the Central Coast. To be successful, you will have a hands-on approach, be naturally pro-active, and have proven success in managing relationships within a complex delivery environment. It is further expected that you will be degree qualified in business, management, social sciences, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.

A competitive remuneration package is offered as would be expected of such a position.
