As the leader of the Service, the Executive Officer Living & Learning Nillumbik plays a key role in shaping Living & Learning Nillumbik's future by implementing the strategic plan, leading an engaged team, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering an outstanding learning service.
What a typical day will look like; Provide local opportunities for people to belong, link to resources, volunteer, gain confidence, knowledge and skills, discover pathways to further learning or employment Organise and deliver a wide range of programs, courses and activities to support and connect our community Oversee the development and implementation of Council's Lifelong Learning Action Plan and support quality learning opportunities to the community What you will bring to the role; Demonstrated ability to lead a cohesive, high performing team while building a strong culture and effectively leading in a changing environment Experience in working with, supporting and collaborating with an Advisory Committee The ability to lead, develop and manage staff in order to have a committed team empowered to deliver quality programs and services Ability to develop, manage and nurture stakeholder relationships Substantial experience in workforce planning, effective people management including well developed human resource and occupational health and safety management skills.
