You will implement best practice operations and service through continual improvement and foster strong relationships within the community. You will drive strategic development opportunities to enhance the Society's presence in the community. You will participate as a project team member in business development initiatives within the Diocese such as affordable housing and retail Centre of Charity growth.There is a requirement to work part of your time from other locations within the Diocese such as Mackay, Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Biloela and Western Queensland.Your key responsibilities include:Preparing and implementing Business Plans that ensure the financial and operational sustainability of the Diocese.Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government, community partners, and internal teams.Leading Diocese Retail, Youth and Membership Development operational functions in achieving a financially sustainable and ethical operating model aligned to mission while implementing mitigation actions to manage material risks.Overseeing the financial management of the Diocese, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with the Society's goals.Providing visionary leadership to employees and volunteers, fostering a positive culture of collaboration, professional development, and mission-driven service.Supporting St Vincent de Paul Society members and membership growth strategy.YouWe are seeking someone with:Proven experience in leadership roles (ideally within a not-for-profit or for-purpose organisation)Strong stakeholder engagement skills with a natural ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships.Financial oversight experience, ensuring budgets and operational plans are met with precision and integrity.A deep commitment to the mission and values of the St Vincent de Paul Society.Why Work With Us?At the St Vincent de Paul Society, you will have the opportunity to lead with purpose, contributing to the well-being of communities and individuals in need.
