The Role Are you an experienced Executive Officer looking for your next challenging role?

Duties: Provide detailed advice and administrative support to SES staff manage the flow of communications within the SES office, including monitoring all in-coming and out-going emails, briefs and correspondence, including follow-up action Support SES staff to ensure effective delivery, governance and leadership of the Division and/or Group's activities, including ensuring that SES staff remains informed and aware of strategic/operational issues requiring attention Coordination and quality assurance of corporate management activities including business planning, briefs and reports.
Develop budgets and manage finances, including evaluating resource performance and requirements within agreed budgetary parameters Prepare and coordinate a range of complex and/or sensitive correspondence, research papers, corporate documentation, submissions and briefs Provide secretariat duties to strategic committees Represent SES staff on internal and external forums Represent the Division/Group on behalf of SES staff at external and cross-agency forums and at conferences and seminars. Manage effective and productive working relationships with internal staff at all levels, external Australian Public Service (APS) agencies and other key stakeholders Anticipate and resolve emerging operational and strategic issues, focusing on their impact on the department, and advise on potential responses Manage and monitor initiatives on behalf of SES staff, and undertake a range of project and event management functions Manage the activities of the Executive Team. Do You Have? High level verbal and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships Superior organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise in an efficient and effective manner Experience with HP Content Manager records management, Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and the Parliamentary Document Management System (PDMS) If you are interested in the role, please submit via the link.
