The Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) is recruiting for a high performing Parliamentary Executive Level 1 Executive Officer to support the First Assistant Secretary, Security Division.
The Security Division is responsible for the provision of security services, building security, access management, security capability asset management, APH and DPS security policy, security risk management, resilience planning and emergency management.
Security Division is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
We work closely with diverse stakeholders who have unique needs and engage with our service delivery.
We liaise extensively with other federal agencies and parliamentary departments to manage security at APH.
The ideal candidate will display strong personal accountability, have experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, be agile and adaptable, and effectively deal with ambiguity and change.
This role provides high level quality assurance on briefs and correspondence, ensures completeness, accuracy (including data verification), and timeliness of documentation, and supports Security Division Senior Executives in meeting deadlines.
Applicants will be required to work collaboratively with stakeholders to build and sustain effective working relationships and represent the Security Division where necessary at departmental meetings.
