The Queensland Revenue Office currently has an opportunity for an AO5 Executive Officer to join the Office of the Commissioner.

In this role, you will provide secretarial, administrative, and operational project support and be the primary contact for a member of the Senior Executive Team (SET).

As the Executive Officer you will work closely with other staff in QRO's Executive Support Team to achieve outcomes that support the strategic objectives of the QRO.
Key accountabilities include:
• Provide high level confidential, administrative, and operational support to the SET
• Coordination and preparation of departmental, ministerial, parliamentary, and cabinet briefings, agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations.
• Coordination of the SET member's schedule as required, including effective executive diary maintenance, and managing travel and accommodation arrangements to ensure efficient time management.
• Undertaking research and analysis to identify a range of options to support executive decision making.
• Processing expenditure approvals, invoices, and accounts; reconciling monthly corporate cards and end of year processing activities.
• Coordinate workflow correspondence, including emails and briefs and provide advice and solutions to improve the quality of correspondence.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior executives, key contacts across QRO, Treasury and external agencies, external clients, and stakeholders to ensure the professional image of QRO is maintained.
• Actively participate in the delivery and coordination of other business management functions and projects as required.
• Coordinate stakeholder responses across QRO on a range of operational and policy matters.
• Provide high level secretariat support to various internal and interjurisdictional committees.
• Ensure compliance with record keeping standards while managing timely, accurate and complete information to enable smart decision making.
• Provide general administrative, project support, and undertake other duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in managing priorities.
