About the roleTAFE SA is seeking a proactive and highly organised Executive Officer to provide expert support to the Executive Director of the Students, Strategic Planning, and Policy Directorate.
This key role requires exceptional administrative, analytical, and project management skills to support TAFE SA's strategic objectives.
Working under broad guidelines, you will lead and coordinate critical projects, manage workflows, and provide insightful advice to enable informed decision-making at the executive level.
The role also involves preparing complex briefings and reports, fostering strategic partnerships, and maintaining confidentiality in sensitive matters.
Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level administrative support, including diary management, travel bookings, and meeting coordination.Develop and deliver project, financial, HR, and risk management plans to support the directorate's strategic goals.Prepare timely and well-researched briefings and reports for senior leadership, the TAFE SA Board, and government stakeholders.Analyse data and provide actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful outcomes.Contribute to a positive team culture by participating in initiatives aligned with TAFE SA's strategic aims.Essential to this role: Extensive experience managing multiple workflows in a dynamic, complex environment.Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality written reports and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with professional integrity and discretion.High level skills in the provision of data and information and the ability to analyse, evaluate and provide recommendations to Executives and senior leadership.Knowledge and/or understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.Relevant qualifications in business or a related field is highly desirable.Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.
Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
