The Justice Reform Office (JRO), within the Justice Policy and Reform division of DJAG, contributes to the delivery of an effective, responsive, fair and efficient justice system that underpins a just and safe Queensland.

Our role is to:Shape and lead evidence-based policy making across the criminal justice system by providing credible, expert driven advice and thought leadership.Actively promote holistic 'systems-based thinking' and innovation across the criminal justice system to address systemic challenges and support sustainable, forward-thinking solutions.Drive a culture of cross-departmental and cross-agency collaboration to ensure system-wide, flexible, and integrated solutions to manage increasing demand across the Queensland criminal justice system.Provide support to the Independent Ministerial Advisory Council (IMAC) which provides advice and guidance to government on how we can reform the criminal justice system and provide enhanced support for victims.Applications will remain current for 12 months.
