The purpose of the role is to manage the provision of wide-ranging and high-level executive and administrative support services to the Deputy Secretary and the PWS Executive team. Provide efficient day-to-day management and delivery of both routine and complex matters, prepare routine correspondence and ensure effective and timely flow of information to and from the office and within their respective branches.
About the role An Executive Officer working within the Office of the Deputy Secretary will:
Provide high-level quality administrative and secretarial support to the Parks and Wildlife Service (PWS) Deputy Secretary and leadership group. Maintain quality control over Ministerial and other confidential correspondence. Research and/or co-ordinate background notes, responses to requests for information and briefings. Liaise with the Minister's Office, Agency and PWS Executive, Business Unit Heads and other key stakeholders. Proactively support the PWS vision: Inspiring landscapes for all people for all time. Hours per fortnight 73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
