Responsible for the provision of high-level support on issues relating to the planning, implementation, performance management and evaluation functions of Population Screening and Cancer Prevention.
The role: As a member of a project team, contribute to and participate in the review and evaluation of Population Screening and Cancer Prevention activities, including policy and planning initiatives.Contribute towards service planning and business process activities to promote state-wide consistency in the delivery of innovative, integrated and accessible services.Coordinate a range of administrative matters, including the preparation of correspondence, reports, submissions and responses to ministerial requests.Participate in quantitative and qualitative information management-related activities to support the management and co-ordination of Population Screening and Cancer Prevention planning, projects and policy development.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
The Team Population Screening and Cancer Prevention oversees the delivery of the three national population cancer screening programs to the Tasmanian population, including breast, bowel and cervical cancer screening, and provides policy advice and support on newborn bloodspot screening and lung cancer screening. The business unit also delivers the Tasmanian Diagnostic Breast Imaging Service.
Details of Appointment Permanent, full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary: $79,529 to $91,517 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
