About the Opportunity The Executive Office Co-ordinator is responsible to the Public Trustee for the effective and efficient provision of a broad range of confidential secretarial and administrative services.
The Executive Office Co-ordinator is expected to provide a range of executive support to relevant committees including, the preparation of agendas, distribution of reference materials, recording and distribution of minutes and following up and investigating administrative matters arising from minutes.
The role includes ensuring appropriate systems, procedures and information management practices are developed, maintained and reviewed to support the operational efficiency of the Public Trustee and Executive.
The Executive Office Co-ordinator will be required to provide accurate advice and assistance to the Public Trustee and Executive Team in urgent matters or priority situations, regarding Government administrative policies and procedures.
About the Business The Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) is a business unit of the Attorney-General's Department.
The Public Trustee was established in 1881 and is constituted under the provisions of the Public Trustee Act 1995.
The Public Trustee plays a key role in managing the personal, legal, and financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs.
The Public Trustee also provides eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.
The Public Trustee is in a prime CBD location, with offices looking out over Victoria Square.
With convenient access to public transport and proximity to the central market, working at the Public Trustee provides an enjoyable work location which supports an active and balanced lifestyle.
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory.
