Position: Executive Manager - Spectrum Planning and Engineering Branch
Reporting to: General Manager
The Executive Manager of the Spectrum Planning and Engineering Branch will be responsible for leading ACMA's specialist spectrum management, planning, and engineering work program. You will lead a team of 33 technical experts in radiocommunications engineering, planning, regulation, compliance, and enforcement to deliver quality outcomes.
You will work closely with current and potential future spectrum users to develop and deliver our annual Five-Year Spectrum Outlook - a world-leading demand analysis and spectrum management plan. You will develop policy and administrative proposals aimed at maintaining and improving the efficiency of existing spectrum management frameworks considering increasing demand and new applications, while looking to support technology and service innovation.
