The Global Technology mission is to create the #1 Tech Company in Australia, and this role is critical to realising that vision by creating products and platforms to support our rapid growth and ambition.The Launchpad portfolio aims to power technology across REA with the best infrastructure and data platforms, and we do this by building and licensing infrastructure, platforms, tools and products that underpin REA's revenue and product growth.You are a driven leader, who has an appreciation and understanding of what it means to develop and grow great teams. You should be someone who has a passion for technology and building great products. You also understand that great products rely on pulling together multiple functions in the pursuit of shared goals.What the role is all aboutCross functional stakeholder management, including the communication and reporting of portfolio results at executive as required.Ensure that the portfolio is connected and aligned with the other key pillars of Global Tech.Together with other functional heads, drive outcomes for REA in line with the Global Tech strategy and OKRs.Interface and build strategic partnerships across the business.Actively manage risk across the portfolio and ensure key stakeholders are informed about the level of risk and potential impacts of those risks on the roadmap and broader business.Lead teams and build a strong culture of performance and innovation.Build, lead, develop and coach a team of product, data and design professionals, creating culture of accountability, learning, development and experimentation.Drive the product strategies covering both short- and long-term horizons.Develop and support our portfolio of products, tools and platforms.Own the product management and design process, methodology including prioritization.Who we're looking forSomeone with Product Management, technology and data experience.Someone who is very comfortable working with senior leaders, technical teams, understands agile delivery, data management and can help to translate technical opportunities to business stakeholders.Demonstrated understanding how platforms deliver scalability to a digital business and synthesis new opportunities into future platform development.Someone to lead the adoption of existing and new capabilities across platforms and products.Experience identifying and resolving complex issues, and assuming leadership roles in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances - solid sense of accountability and sound personal judgment.Someone passionate about technology, product, data and people.The REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about.
