Salary Up To $195, 975k TRP (inclusive of Super)

About the Role:

In this key leadership role, you would be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and guidance to the organisation on best practices for strategic planning and reporting frameworks to ensure Council complies with legislative requirements and promotes business excellence through program planning and performance management. The role also provides vision, leadership and governance of council's ICT, data and digital strategies to support the delivery of council's strategic plan and supporting strategies and industry best practice.

As the Executive Manager Organisational Performance , you would lead the following programs and services:

Governance
Corporate Reporting and Plans
Strategic Risk Management
Legal Services Management
Insurance Policy and Claims
ICT and Asset Data Management
Records and Information Management
Procurement and Grant Management
Asset Management Plans
Property Lease Management

To support your success in this role, you will have:

The proven ability to motivate and lead, strategically influence diverse and dynamic teams and contribute to an innovative and positive working environment.
Substantial knowledge of corporate performance reporting and/or governance issues.
Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering internal audits, assessing, and evaluating risks and business control practices.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, strategies, and policies.
Proficiency in budget and resource management.
High-level verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
A deep understanding of corporate performance and managing change in the public sector.
Experienced in internal audits, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

A Tertiary qualification in either Public Administration, Business Management, Accountancy, Law or a relevant discipline is required, with a minimum of seven years relevant work experience preferred in a similar, large complex environment.
