The Reef Hotel Casino is seeking an experienced and hands on Executive Manager of Marketing to spearhead our marketing, entertainment, and public relations efforts. In this pivotal role, you will shape the strategic direction of our brand, drive business growth, and enhance our presence in the community. This role reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and forms part of the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities Lead the branding and strategic positioning of The Reef Hotel Casino Complex, developing and implementing comprehensive marketing policies and strategies that align with our vision and market trends, while delivering measurable contributions to the bottom line.Plan, produce, and execute high-quality marketing, entertainment, and promotional activities designed to stimulate business growth. Manage departmental marketing plans within defined budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effectiveness.Oversee the development and management of public relations and sponsorship programs, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with local and national media, press, and community influencers.Establish advertising standards and oversee creative direction across all marketing materials and campaigns, while implementing design standards for all products and printed materials.Provide strong leadership within the Marketing Department, fostering interdepartmental relationships and teamwork to enhance overall effectiveness.Control the market research program and manage all departmental contractual arrangements to inform strategic decisions and optimise marketing effectiveness.Monitor and manage all entertainment initiatives at The Reef Hotel Casino, ensuring high standards and guest satisfaction.Oversee tenancy arrangements and manage relationships with external suppliers, tourism partners, and service providers to enhance operational efficiency and market presence.The ideal candidate will have significant hands on experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the hospitality or entertainment industry, with a proven history in developing, implementing, and analysing strategic marketing plans.
You will demonstrate strong strategic thinking and creative critical thinking skills, enabling innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
Exceptional leadership abilities and a collaborative mindset are essential, as is the capacity to manage a small team effectively.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills will allow them to influence and inspire others while building networks within the local community and tourism industry.
The candidate must also thrive under pressure, juggling multiple priorities to meet deadlines, and bring a creative flair to all marketing initiatives, contributing to compelling campaigns and strong brand positioning.
