As a Data Delivery Lead, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to help our Consumer Division Lines of Business identify opportunities for leveraging data, advancing the organisation's data agenda, and mitigating risks within the UNITE program.
You'll oversee data governance activities, lead and drive data change initiatives and deliver key insights on downstream and upstream data impacts on our customers and stakeholders.
Additionally, you'll build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide training and awareness to promote best practices in data risk management and governance as it relates to UNITE programs of delivery.
This role will sit in the Chief Data Office within the Consumer Division to lead a portfolio of initiatives, to co-ordinate data provision, data assessment, data assurance, data modelling, data profiling, data architecture and data migration.
You're responsible and accountable for: Sourcing and reviewing data architecture and data models across upstream and downstream applications to determine data migration impactCollaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and act as a proxy for between technical and business specificationsDeveloping and maintaining data models, data flow diagrams, and data dictionaries.Ensuring data integrity, quality, and security across all data systems, through risk identification, risk mitigation and control upliftsOptimizing and enhancing data architecture to support scalability and performance.Ensuring compliance with our data, privacy and record keeping obligationsWorking closely with IT and business teams to ensure alignment of data strategies with business goals.Developing and maintain a reporting mechanism to communicate progress and insights on data governance and management activities.Providing governance oversight over portfolio of initiatives and participate in data domain councils and forums to provide insights on data management and migration activities and the impacts of UNITE programs.What do I need? The successful candidate will have:
Extensive experience in data delivery, data management, or similar roles.Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in delivering complex data-driven projects on time and within budget.Strong background in data governance, data architecture and data migrationDemonstrated experience in strategic planning and overseeing the execution of data transformation programsHands-on experience with data platforms, tools, and technologies (e.g., SQL, Big Data, ETL tools, etc.
).Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.What's it like to work there?
