This pool recruitment process will remain open for a period of 12 months from the conclusion of the recruitment breach period. Applicants appointed to the pool may be considered for appointment to subsequent and similar vacancies. Contracts may be offered for up to five years with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. One full-time position is currently available for immediate filling. Part-time arrangements will be considered.
THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT The Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector. The Executive Directorate provides diverse services to support the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Chief Executive, including the preparation and publication of reports, executive officer support to Commission committees, facilitation of risk management and audit processes, development of communication strategies for internal and external audiences, and administrative support.
THE OPPORTUNITY The Executive Manager is responsible for managing the Commission's Executive Office through the management of the risk management and audit function, the communications function, and executive support services; managing the human, financial, and physical resources for the Office; providing guidance and executive support to executive committees; developing processes to ensure that corporate initiatives meet the Director Executive's priorities and direction; and providing advice and leadership in relation to key Commission projects.
The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process.
