Your new roleReporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, we are seeking a highly experienced and capable Executive Manager Finance responsible for managing the financial and Information Technology operations of Abound Communities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, risk management, contributing to the overall financial health and success of the organisation, and managing budget preparation and reporting.
This includes working closely with and building positive and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.

At least 8 years' experience in a similar, broad finance management role, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within the aged care/community/retirement villages sector.Extensive experience in financial management, particularly within the aged care and retirement living industry.Appreciation of a NFP environment where charitable goals must be balanced against financial imperatives.Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and industry standards.Proficiency in financial software such as Xero and tools.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Strong strategic leadership and team management abilities.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Able to demonstrate initiative, sound decision making and effective conflict resolution.Full Covid 19 and other related vaccination.IT Literacy and familiarity with care systems.Key Responsibilities of the roleFinancial Strategy and ManagementBudget Preparation, Forecasting and ReportingRegulatory Compliance and ReportingCost Control, Efficiency and Risk ManagementPeople leadershipPolicies, procedures and governanceInformation Technology and CommunicationPayroll ManagementContinuous improvement initiatives and projectsRisk and compliance managementStakeholder and relationship managementWho are we?Abound Communities is a leading not-for-profit provider of comprehensive care solutions, specialising in Residential Care, Home Care, and Retirement Villages, offering a continuum of care for our residents.
