About the Role: Barkuma is seeking an Executive Manager, Corporate Services to shape and lead critical business functions that support our mission of empowering people with disability. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is integral to our Leadership Team and involves managing a diverse portfolio, including Communications, Finance, People & Culture & WHS, ICT, and Business Systems. As the Executive Manager, Corporate Services, you will guide a talented team across essential functions, building a service culture that supports both operational excellence and strategic growth. Your leadership will directly influence Barkuma's success in achieving its strategic objectives, fostering a cohesive, high-performing workforce and ensuring financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the Corporate Services Group, setting a high standard for professionalism and accountability. Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned with Barkuma's mission. Promote a culture of strong internal service and collaboration. Contribute to the review, development, and implementation of Barkuma's Strategic Plan. Champion a collaborative, service-oriented approach across corporate functions. Drive the planning and execution of business plans for Communications, Finance, HR & WHS, ICT, and Business Systems. Ensure all corporate services function efficiently and deliver measurable outcomes aligned with organisational goals. Lead the development of an ICT strategy that supports our long-term vision. Maintain Barkuma's financial health through effective financial management and reporting. Actively support budget development and associated modelling. Drive a proactive approach to WHS to promote a safe and compliant workplace, building a culture of reporting and continuous improvement. Enhance Barkuma's market presence through strong communication and marketing strategies. Develop brand recognition through meaningful engagement with both internal and external stakeholders. Foster a supportive, achievement-focused culture that values learning, unity, and excellence. Lead initiatives that align team development with Barkuma's mission, values, and strategic priorities. What you will need to be successful in this role: Extensive experience in a senior corporate services or executive role within complex organisations. Strong strategic and financial acumen, with the ability to lead diverse corporate functions effectively. Understanding of the NDIS landscape, including challenges and opportunities for service delivery. Proven success in change management and leading functions such as Marketing, Finance, ICT, and HR. Commitment to sound governance, risk management, and financial stewardship. Exceptional interpersonal skills to build cohesive relationships and lead with integrity. Qualifications and Clearances: Tertiary qualifications in Management, Finance, Accounting, or Corporate/Business Development / Business Administration or Strategic Management. Current NDIS Worker Screening or DHS Disability clearance (or willingness to obtain). Current DHS Working with Children check. NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' (or willingness to obtain). Appropriate infection control and Child Safe Environments certificate. Special Conditions: Work rights for Australia. Ability to work at any Barkuma location as directed. Current Australian Driver's Licence.
