Sydney, NSW, AustraliaJob DescriptionExecutive Manager Compliance, Consumer Finance - 55058Sydney based, hybrid working modelBe a Trusted Partner to the business regarding all aspects of complianceDrive efficient quality outcomes for our customers and stakeholdersHow will I help?Our Executive Manager is responsible for providing dedicated second line compliance support to the Consumer Finance division. Your role will be key in engaging with business management and first line risk, whilst providing advice, insight and oversight on key business initiatives and projects.Some of the key accountabilities are:Providing Compliance advice to the Consumer Finance divisionReview and challenge key business initiatives/projects including regulatory change, product migrations and simplification initiativesBuild effective relationships with other functions, such as Operational Risk, Business Controls Monitoring, Legal and Regulatory AffairsAnalyse the external environment to identify relevant regulatory change and external eventsConduct assessments of potential breaches when incidents are identified and provide advice on steps needed to rectify any breaches and remediate customers.What do I need?Experience in compliance risk management for retail credit productsExperience and understanding of retail banking products and the regulatory environment including the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, Banking Code of Practice, Privacy Act etc.Ability to adapt to rapid digitisation and technology changeProven track record in working with complexity and ambiguity managing through complex organisation and managing divergent drivers and objectives to produce optimal overall Group outcomesIf you are passionate about a rigorous, forward looking, and practical approach to Compliance, driving quality outcomes for our customers and stakeholders then we would love to hear from you!What's it like to work there?We are a collaborative team of passionate people with a shared ambition to make a difference for our customers, our communities and each other.
