Executive Manager - Communications & Governance Your new company The Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB) is a Tasmanian Government Business Enterprise which operates Tasmania's personal injury motor accident insurance scheme.
The MAIB supports people recovering from or living with injuries which result from motor accidents by providing benefits, rehabilitation, lifetime support, and common law rights.
Your new role As Executive Manager - Communications and Governance, you will provide high-level leadership and oversight management of engagement, communications, brand appreciation, corporate and governance activity, including the provision of high-level policy advice, stakeholder engagement, and marketing/communications for the MAIB.
Reporting to and working closely with the CEO, this position will lead the MAIB's external engagement, brand appreciation, and communications.
As the successful candidate, you will also oversee the corporate, governance, assurance, and risk function of the business as well as guiding and developing the relevant leadership team members and inspiring all staff.
What you'll need to succeed As an authentic contemporary and hands-on leader, you will be client-centric with a genuine care for people.
With extensive experience in senior Communications, Engagement, and Governance roles in relevant industries (e.g., insurance, construction, commerce, or law), you will also have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or management qualifications and experience.
