Our vision is bold, our goals ambitious, and our commitment unwavering.Responsibilities:Lead comprehensive market research and analysis specifically within the Ports sector to uncover high-impact business opportunities.Develop a prioritised pipeline of prospects based on strategic alignment, market trends, and revenue potential in the Ports industry.Build and maintain strong relationships with key executive clients and stakeholders, gaining insights into their upcoming port projects.Collaborate with the APP Transport Executive Team and the Chief Development Officer to align business development strategies with overall company objectives, particularly in Ports.Craft innovative strategies for entering new markets within the Ports sector and expanding our footprint with existing clients.Create competitive, client-centric proposals that align with our business goals in Ports.Architect and execute strategies to convert identified opportunities, emphasizing relationship management and solution-oriented proposals.Represent the APP Group at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and attract new business opportunities.About You:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is desirable.Extensive knowledge of the transport industry, particularly with a proven track record in the Ports sector.Demonstrated ability to convert and retain business, showcasing a deep understanding of client needs and effective relationship management.Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and prioritize high-impact business opportunities within Ports.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a proven capability to influence stakeholders at the executive level.A rewarding career: Strive forward with purpose.
