Executive Manager, Assurance, Transformation (COO Risk) Executive Manager, Assurance, Transformation (COO Risk) Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia Executive Manager, Assurance, Transformation (COO Risk) Executive Manager, Assurance, Transformation (COO Risk) Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia Executive Manager, Assurance, Transformation (COO Risk) Job DescriptionHow will I help?The 2nd Line Assurance team is part of the Chief Operating Office in Risk Division and is accountable for delivering the annual Coordinated Assurance plan.As an Executive Manager in the 2nd Line Assurance team, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating assurance reviews to provide insight, oversight and challenge of risk management in large-scale projects and transformation initiatives in Westpac. This role will have a key focus on UNITE, which is a multi-billion technology simplification program for the Bank.Key AccountabilitiesLead and oversee the execution of Assurance reviews to ensure the effective governance and quality of change execution risk within the UNITE Program (delivery and delivered risks)Deliver assurance opinions on the effectiveness of risk management practices (including control effectiveness) in managing the associated risks, ensuring alignment with the 2nd Line Assurance StandardPartner and collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Divisional 2LOD teams and the UNITE Program to ensure that both delivery and delivered risks are effectively managedCollaborate with 2nd Line Divisional CRO teams and Group Audit to identify thematic opportunities and focus areas in coordinated assurance planning activities.Produce and present reporting of key insights to divisional risk committees, program governance forums and program steering committees.Lead, develop and build a high performing team which provides forwarding looking insights on key risks to Divisional CROs, Senior Management, and Executive Management Teams.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
