Executive Manager And Chief Information & Digital Officer, Ses 1

Details of the offer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing organisation tasked with the mission-critical remit of helping Australians have safer and more positive experiences online. Technology is a critical driver of eSafety's regulatory operations. Being a future-thinking innovator that helps eSafety effectively implement optimal technology solutions to support its remit whilst also being deeply experienced in the management of risk, cyber threats, planning, strategy, and delivery within Commonwealth frameworks will be critical to the success of this role.

As the Executive Manager and Chief Information and Digital Officer, you will lead your teams through successful digital transformation initiatives, improving processes and engagement with the business and positioning the Branch as a trusted partner in the delivery of technology solutions. You will have a strong focus on building a collaborative and supportive culture and uplifting capability to ensure eSafety stays primed to be a leading innovator in online safety regulation.

While reporting to the General Manager of Technology and Strategy, you will also have a formal security role as eSafety's Deputy Chief Information Security Officer and co-chair of the joint Cyber Security Steering Committee. This will necessitate you working closely with the ACMA's CISO and your own IT Security Manager and teams to ensure compliance with all necessary frameworks and standards including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Information Security Manual (ISM) controls, and relevant DTA procurement, use of cloud, hosting, and digital services guidelines.

You will represent eSafety at key internal and external forums and committees relevant to ICT capability, audit and risk, cyber security, governance, and delivery, speaking knowledgeably and taking accountability for all activities within your remit. You will ensure full transparency of your functions, including identifying risk, compliance gaps, and conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure continuous improvement, providing regular updates and presentations to keep stakeholders informed.

To be eligible for employment with eSafety, applicants must be Australian citizens.
