Executive Level 2 - Health Security Unit DirectorThe Health Security Unit will provide Australian CDC with leadership in the Australian Government intelligence sector supporting early detection and analysis of health threats to inform prevention, preparedness and response activities.
The HSU will work across the interim Australian Centre for Disease Control (CDC) and with other government agencies, drawing on existing technical expertise to inform public health risk assessments, both immediate and longer term.

It will also support evidence-based decision-making on public health policy and programs.
As the Director of the HSU, you will have the opportunity to build a team to deliver an international and national view of surveillance and assessment.
