An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our exceptional resort housekeeping team.
As the Executive Housekeeper, you'll lead and inspire your team, ensuring all guest rooms and suites meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
This dynamic role combines hands-on leadership with vital administrative duties to ensure seamless departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities: Provide clear direction and support to the housekeeping team, maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and efficiency.Collaborate with Front Office and Maintenance to guarantee rooms are guest-ready.Oversee and implement effective maintenance programs.Liaise with external contractors and suppliers to uphold hotel standards.Respond promptly to operational challenges, including guest complaints, enquiries, and special requests.Develop and deliver training initiatives to foster team growth and excellence.Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs in line with budget expectations.Maintain robust cost-control systems for cleaning supplies, linen, and inventory.Assist in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations, ensuring alignment with company values and standards of excellence.Report and coordinate maintenance or repair needs, ensuring vehicles and equipment are well-maintained.About You:
You're a passionate hospitality professional with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
With proven management skills, you excel in rostering, motivating, and training your team.
Your strong organisational and time management abilities, coupled with a positive attitude, set you apart.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring: A minimum of 12 months' experience as a supervisor in a hotel or similar environment.Outstanding training, motivational, and leadership skills.Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to challenges.A current open QLD driver's licence.
