About the role
IPA seeks an experienced EGM of Merchandise to provide executive level, strategic direction, and leadership to the Buying, Merchandising and Warehouse teams. Reporting to the COO, this role will collaborate with senior leadership to align merchandising strategies and plans with overall strategic goals for IPA. The EGM will be responsible for building, developing, and retaining high preforming teams and will play a crucial role in maintaining company culture and values.
Role & Responsibilities: Develop and implement innovative merchandising strategies to drive sales in community pharmacy and enhance member satisfaction and retention.Oversee all aspects of the buying process, including selection, procurement, and inventory management.Oversee the efficient operation of IPA's warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and distribution logistics.Full ownership of the Merchandise budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximise profitability and ROI, ensuring financial targets are met and exceededImplement cost-saving initiatives and optimisation strategies to maximise profitability. 22nd May, 2024 Executive General Manager (EGM) of Merchandise About DBG Health & IPA:

Skills & Experience Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role within the retail or pharmacy industry, with a focus on merchandise management. Strong negotiation skills and ability to secure favourable terms with suppliers. Experience managing warehouse operations, including knowledge, and understanding of best practice inventory management, order fulfilment, and distribution logistics. Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience leading, inspiring, and developing high-performing teams. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute merchandising strategies that drive business growth and profitability. Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. BeBenefits & perks:
