About the role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Executive General Manager will be responsible for the overall business strategy and operational leadership across all current and future divisions. This key role oversees the end-to-end delivery of business performance, encompassing sales, marketing, business strategies, customer service, procurement, commercial warehousing, operations, and distribution. In collaboration with the leadership team, the Executive General Manager will spearhead the strategic planning process, identify new opportunities, assess potential acquisitions, modernise the workplace, and implement robust people processes and systems. The key to success will be fostering a culture of team development, accountability, and transparent communication while ensuring a deep understanding of the interconnectedness between existing and future operations.
About you
You are a commercially astute, customer and people-centric senior leader, with direct and creditable experience as Executive General Manager (or equivalent) gained within an industrial B2B sector which could include manufacturing, construction, logistics or integrated property services. With an eye for effective operations, you are a leader who inspires and guides others to raise the bar. A change and growth champion, you spend the time to understand the organisation from the ground up. You are humanistic and emotionally intelligent, a natural coach and mentor, and someone who creates cohesion among multiple functions with a 'one team' approach. This represents a great opportunity for you to apply your passion for aligning operations with an overarching strategy, values and purpose in the next chapter of this organisation as they strive for growth and diversification to meet the needs of the future.
