Executive General Manager, Human Resources The Role Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the strategic direction of the HR function contributes and aligns with the company's overarching objectives.
Leading the HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of comprehensive HR services across the organisation, with a focus on enhancing performance outcomes, employee retention, attraction, engagement, and compliance. Implementing programs to foster a positive and inclusive organisational culture, this role will be responsible for driving HR initiatives aimed at enhancing performance outcomes, employee retention, attraction, and engagement. This role manages HR budgets, forecasting, and reporting to ensure efficient and effective resource allocation and oversees HR reporting, data analysis, and governance to inform strategic decision-making and improve HR policies and practices.
Requirements Applicants must have extensive, demonstrable experience in senior HR roles, gained primarily in the mining industry. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience leading HR functions, with proven strategic leadership and a successful change management history. A background in M&A and Due Diligence, and by extension change implementation and integration, is expected. To be considered for this role you must show a proficiency for assessing organisational issues and implementing effective HR solutions, combined with a strong business acumen, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building abilities are essential, as is a tertiary qualification in human resources.
