Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) was established by the Government of Australia to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure at the Osborne Naval Shipyard for the domestic manufacture of world-class naval vessels.
ANI is responsible for the design and build of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard – one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia's history, to support the build of nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS program.
The Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs and People is a newly created role at ANI and is part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director & CEO.
Specific responsibilities of this diverse and important position include:
Building and maintaining productive relationships with all key ANI stakeholder groups, including Commonwealth, State and Local governments, the Australian Submarine Agency, shipbuilders and the broader community.Leading and directing community consultation programs, media and communications.Leading internal communications and corporate affairs for both the Adelaide CBD and Osborne sites and operations.Strategically leading ANI's people and culture function to ensure strong workforce planning, attraction, succession, recruitment, development and performance outcomes.Driving ANI's ESG strategies and initiatives to meet corporate and community expectations.ANI's employment framework and collaborative culture supports flexibility, work-life balance and personal development.
This will be one of the most senior and well-rewarded executive roles of its type in South Australia. It will suit a highly accomplished professional with relevant experience in a comparably complex organisation with the credibility, agility, authenticity, vitality and strategic capability required to be a key member of this high-performing leadership team.
