The Position Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) seeks to appoint an innovative, collegiate, and strategic leader to the role of Executive Director Research, Innovation and Digital Health. This key executive role will provide strategic leadership in the advancement of research innovation and digital health initiatives and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in healthcare delivery.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership across interdisciplinary teams, overseeing the ICT and research projects in healthcare and digital health technologies. Leading healthcare innovation, identifying opportunities for digital solutions and integrating emerging technologies, the Executive Director will support the enhancement of patient care and operational efficiency. The Executive Director will also develop and execute the digital health strategy, driving technology adoption to streamline clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes. Establishing strategic relationships, representing WCHN in industry forums, and advocating for supportive policies and funding for research and innovation will be key aspects of this role.
The successful candidate will be a highly strategic senior leader with experience leading teams within large complex organisations and have a proven ability to challenge current ways of working to drive innovation. With demonstrated experience conceptualising complex issues and developing/negotiating solutions, the incumbent will drive and implement change and foster an environment that is collaborative, innovative, and collegiate. The ability to leverage data analytics to inform strategic decision making to improve patient outcomes and enhance operational efficiencies will be key to success in this role, as will a proven track record in managing research initiatives, translating research outcomes into practice.
