Executive Director, People and Culture Deliver excellent strategic and operational servicesPeople leadership focusSenior Executive Service Level 2 (SES2), Fixed Term up to Five (5) YearsWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join us as the Executive Director of People and Culture at the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions (DJSIR). In this pivotal role, you will drive the delivery of exceptional strategic and operational services, ensuring our Department is poised to navigate evolving external landscapes and government directives.
The Executive Director is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team within the Corporate Services Group. This role holds substantial accountability for developing a strong workforce and promoting a supportive, secure, and diverse departmental culture.
The successful candidate will establish strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to grasp the Department's workforce needs and objectives. The position will implement customised approaches to effectively meet these requirements, remaining informed about broader VPS priorities and ensuring their integration into branch operations. The position will lead efforts to drive and integrate key strategies across the department, with a particular emphasis on enhancing diversity and inclusion, as well as fostering leadership capability and developing talent.
