You will have a proven record of implementing operational policies and practices to effectively coordinate nursing and midwifery services with a focus on patient care and clinical priorities. Forming part of the Executive Leadership Team this role provides leadership, strategic focus, influential and expert advice on a wide range of professional and policy nursing and midwifery matters. This role is also responsible for providing assurance to the Health Service Chief Executive that the services and activities meet the relevant clinical and corporate governance requirements.The successful personYou will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate your strategic nursing leadership experience within a dynamic and complex health environment. You will be skilled in planning, developing and coordinating nursing and midwifery services with a focus on patient care, clinical priorities and quality programs. This will be supported by your commitment to the continuous improvement of clinical standards and safety performance.You will also be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the best fit for the role.
