About the role: The Executive Director, Reform Implementation will be responsible for leading a new function within the mental health and wellbeing division tasked with successful implementation of priority and complex reform initiatives, in both mental health and AOD. The role will support system transformation through employing effective and adaptive approaches to implementation, ensuring new and/or complex initiatives are able to successfully operate within the service system.
How you'll make a difference: The Executive Director will initially be responsible for the implementation of a number of time-limited AOD and mental health service delivery and system reform architecture initiatives. New reforms for delivery will be identified and established as initiatives are delivered and transitioned out, and priorities change.
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate: The development and implementation of change plans to prepare individuals and organisations across the system for the integration and/or establishment of services, including the assessment of system readiness. The design and preparation of implementation frameworks to support change efforts and facilitate reporting and oversight across projects that support different contexts. This includes monitoring implementation to identify barriers and enablers and promote strategies for improvement. The establishment of transition plans and arrangements to handover responsibility of the initiative to another part of the division as implementation reaches a sustainable phase.
