Executive Director GEOINT Futures & DeliveryThe Executive Director Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Futures & Delivery is responsible for the delivery of new capability for AGO and for understanding future capability requirements. There is a strong focus on understanding Government, Defence and National Intelligence Community priorities and challenges and what that might mean for AGO capability requirements and prioritisation. The role also leads international engagement on many technical capability challenges, working particularly closely as a part of the Five Eyes community.Your main responsibilities will include:Providing the strategic direction for AGO's projects in planning and delivery.Providing advice and support to Assistant Secretary GEOINT Capability Delivery and, as required, to the Director of AGO.Leading a geographically dispersed workforce of APS and contractors to deliver GEOINT capability projects.Ensuring other Defence projects understand their reliance on GEOINT.Building requirements for future GEOINT capabilities.Leading Engagement with Five Eyes partners to drive excellent outcomes for Australia.About our TeamThe Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO) is responsible for the delivery of cutting-edge capability, which supports the Australian Defence Force, the National Intelligence Community (NIC), and other areas of government. This is done in AGO's GEOINT Capability Delivery branch (GCD). This branch has project managers, support officers, systems engineers, ICT security specialists, systems architects, business analysts, finance specialists, contracting and procurement officers who work together, and with customers, to design, build and sustain GEOINT capability.Our Ideal CandidateWe want authentic leaders who can provide clear direction and build trust, while guiding, developing and empowering our people.
