The Opportunity The Department of Transport (DoT) is seeking an innovative and dynamic Executive Director for Driver and Vehicle Services. This is your chance to lead a team dedicated to transforming transport services and ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our vibrant WA community.
You'll shape the future of Transport by being at the forefront of strategic development, guiding DoT towards a future where transport services are efficient, effective and equitable. You will lead with purpose, providing contemporary leadership that inspires and motivates a diverse team to achieve excellence. In this role, you will:
Craft and implement the strategic vision that aligns with DoT's goals and community needs. Lead, with a values focused approach, complex initiatives that drive our mission forward. Serve as a strategic advisor by providing insightful advice to the Minister and key stakeholders on emerging issues and building strong, trusted relationships with agencies, local governments, industry, and community bodies. Develop forward-thinking policies and products that address current and future needs. About you This position is part of the Corporate Executive and contributes to the ongoing strategic development and management of DoT. You will be an established leader with an ability to achieve outcomes that support the agency priorities and be able to translate and communicate the agency's development objectives into strategic projects and key performance areas in your division.
As an Executive Leader, you will embody core leadership behaviours that drive our mission forward. These will be outlined in the Leadership Expectations and should be demonstrated in the context of Executive Leader. These behaviours will be assessed in the context of this position during the recruitment and selection process. Showcasing your ability to lead with excellence and inspire others.
