Due to this growth, a fantastic opportunity has opened for an experienced Executive Director of Cost Engineering and Controls to lead our Advisory Cost Engineering team. Working from either of our main CBD offices (Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne), you will form an integral part of the national Leadership team.
About this opportunity
The primary function of the Executive Director is to guide and support State Directors in the expansion of our Cost Engineering and Controls business. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of growth strategies, driving business development activities, and ensuring operational excellence across all service offerings.
As an Executive Director at RPI, you'll be responsible for:
Enhancing the profile of the Cost Engineering and Controls service streams to drive new business opportunities.Expanding our cost, risk, scheduling, data analytics, and/or PMO offering at RP Infrastructure.Supporting the achievement of business development targets that contribute to the company's planned growth and profitability.Mentoring and growing the cost engineering team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.Demonstrating high-energy and a resounding commitment to ongoing process improvement. This role will suit a charismatic visionary, who is passionate about growing businesses and people.Motivating and inspiring a team of 3 Directors (who will report directly to you), as well as roughly 30 indirect reports who will sit in your division.Fostering strong communication and relationships with clients, partners, and staff across the broader RPI business.To be considered for this role, you will need to bring: Executive leadership experience in an industry-related position, such as a Director, Executive Director, Head of Cost Engineering or related role.Strong networks and connectivity within Infrastructure Advisory. You must have a demonstrated track record of growing and managing a business unit within an Infrastructure environment.Demonstrated experience in a Project Management Consultancy, Engineering Consultancy, or as a Contractor.Demonstrated experience through the planning, design, procurement and/or delivery phases of complex Infrastructure projects – such as Energy, Transport, Utilities etc.Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and governance independently. Your extensive professional network will be key.Charisma, energy, and visionary leadership skills. Your proactive and enthusiastic approach will be crucial in motivating and inspiring your staff and clients alike.Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related disciplines.This role presents an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a meaningful impact on the growth and success of RP Infrastructure, while also shaping their own career trajectory within the organization.
