As the Executive Coordinator (Strategic Communications), you will be an active member of the multi-disciplinary communication unit comprising marketing and communication, organisational communication, creative services, media, social media, and digital content teams which contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the department's communication function. In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Directors, and functional teams.Some of your responsibilities will include:Business Operations: Coordinate the day-to-day business of the Office of the Executive Director by proactively managing meeting preparation and follow-up actions, diary and travel arrangements, document management, planning, and preparation.Stakeholder and Relationship Management: Liaise, consult, and maintain effective relationships with team members and internal and external clients and stakeholders; tailoring communication and advice to meet the needs of diverse audiences and stakeholders.Advisory Support: Prioritise actions and respond in a timely manner to enquiries from stakeholders, following quality standards, public sector legislation, policies, practices, and procedures. Escalate items requiring approvals to the Executive Director or relevant team member.Event Coordination: Organise the safety and wellbeing educational activities on behalf of the strategic communication unit, including managing safety interactions and coordinating unit events and wellbeing activities.Administrative Expertise: Provide a range of project or administrative activities and tasks, for example, conduct and compile research and analysis within specified parameters; organise meetings and collate related papers, reports, or agendas; develop and maintain databases; update records on systems and coordinate recruitment across the team.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/597536/24Closing Date: Thursday, 31 October 2024.#J-18808-Ljbffr
