Executive Chef

Job Summary:
Maa Bhagwati Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Blahnik Corporate Catering. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and executing menus, overseeing food quality, and collaborating with our management and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement menus that meet our budget and seasonal ingredient requirementsOversee the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentationCollaborate with our management and kitchen staff on food preparation issuesDemonstrate techniques and provide advice on cooking proceduresPrepare and cook food to the highest standardsTrain staff to prepare and cook all menu itemsTake stock of ingredients and equipment, and place orders to replenish stockCreate new recipes to keep our menu freshStay up-to-date with industry trends and best practicesReceive feedback and make improvements where necessarySelect and train staffFreeze and preserve foods Requirements: 1 year of relevant work experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to multitaskKnowledge of food safety and hygiene practices What We Offer: A competitive salary of $70,000 - $80,000 per yearA full-time, permanent positionThe opportunity to work with a dynamic and experienced teamA chance to develop your culinary skills and knowledge
