To support agency needs and promote career development, Executive Branch Manager roles within Access Canberra may from time-to-time be rotated across different branches leading any of the functional streams, which currently comprise of:
Strategy and PlanningFair Trading and ComplianceLicensing and RegistrationService Delivery and EngagementConstruction and Planning RegulationCorporate Support and CapabilityEnvironment, Land and Technical RegulationSome Executive Branch Manager roles perform statutory functions, such as the Construction Occupations Registrar, Commissioner for Fair Trading and CEO Gaming and Racing.
About the role The Fair Trading and Compliance Branch is responsible for Working with Vulnerable People, traffic infringement management, business assist and event coordination, and compliance, investigations and conciliations. The occupant of this position also performs the statutory function of Controlled Sports Registrar.
Note: Selection may be based on written application and referee reports only.
Remuneration: The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $281,899 - $293,175 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $250,582.
Contract: The successful applicant will be engaged under a short-term contract from 4 February 2025 for a period six months (with the possibility of extension up to two years).
