This is a Sydney-based role which requires occasional travel to Canberra. The Opportunity Are you ready to take on a pivotal role at the heart of our leadership team? As an Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-level administrative and project management support to the Co-Founder of Macquarie Technology Group, who is also the Managing Director for Government, and the senior leadership team. Acting as a key interface between leadership, customers, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure seamless communication and operations. \n What You Will Do Manage Co-Founders' s complex schedule and provide administrative support to the Government senior leadership team.Attend and organize senior leadership team meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking.Prepare presentations for Town Halls and other events. Government Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior public sector officials and their assistants.Coordinate meetings and events with key industry associations and government stakeholders.Monitor political trends and government role changes. Maintain and update a target list of key contacts for the Co-Founder. Liaise with the Regulatory team for media engagements and press releases.Corporate Communications Support: Draft, edit, and proof correspondence, presentations, and speeches for the MD and senior leaders.Plan and coordinate leadership meetings, team off-sites and business unit events. Hospitality & Event Management: Organize payments and vendor management for events, including networking events and boardroom dinners. Ideal Skills and Experience At least 7 years' experience in similar or Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant and/or project coordinator roleExperience and/or keen interest in working with State or Federal Government is highly desirableStrong record of handling highly confidential information Strong computer literate skills in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).Intermediate user skills in online and internal knowledge of systems to approve payments, invoices and book travel (e.g. Salesforce, Online booking and payment systems.
