ABOUT THE ORGANISATIONinTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence (inTouch) provides person-centered, integrated and culturally responsive family violence services to people from migrant and refugee communities across Victoria. We have assisted over 30,000 women and children experiencing family violence throughout our 40 years of operation, providing a holistic service that centres the experiences of victim-survivors in everything we do.
inTouch works across the family violence continuum, providing culturally informed early intervention, case management, programs for men who use violence, legal advice, crisis recovery and enhanced capacity-building across the sector and community. We are proud to provide high-level leadership and guidance to all levels of government with our evidence-based, victim-survivor informed advocacy and policy work.
We are a unique and vital service, with specialist expertise working with people of migrant and refugee backgrounds. This is reflected in our workforce, which is comprised primarily of people who are migrants and refugees themselves – the inTouch team is from over 20 different countries and communities globally.
ABOUT THE ROLEinTouch Multicultural Centre Against Family Violence has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the CEO. You will ensure the Executive Team are efficiently and effectively supported in their delivery of organisation initiatives and provide quality and timely assistance in managing schedules and requirements of the Executive office.
In this role, your key focus area will be:
Key focus areas include: Coordination of Board and Committee meetingsOrganising travel and accommodation arrangements as requiredDiary managementAdministrative functions: Facilitation, preparation and minute taking for meetings.Comprehensive inbox management for CEOCollation of Board papers, reports, and organisational documents.Coordination of CEO communications and general CEO office operationsStakeholder contact: Key point of contact for Board, Committee, staff and all CEO appointments.ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTAt least 5+ years as an EAA proven track record of supporting senior leaders within either a corporate or Non-for-Profit environment.Your ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional and standout administrative acumen and delivery.Excellent communication skills with a positive and professional presence.Ability to work independently under pressure while managing multiple priorities.Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.Board experience and advanced MS Office skills.Ability to 'read the room' and act with sensitivity and intuition to make things happen.Proficiency across other online collaboration tools e.g.; Board Platforms, Teams.Experience in the Family and Domestic Violence sector or similar social services non-for-profit organisation will be highly regarded.Ability to speak a language in addition to English.HOW TO APPLYPlease apply with your resume and a short cover letter referring to the key selection criteria in the Position Description found here.
