St Clare's High School, Taree is seeking a Temporary Part Time (6hrs a week on a Friday) Executive Assistant to join the team January 2025 for 12 months.
St Clare's was established in 1971 as a systemic, coeducational, regional high school catering for students from Taree, Forster/Tuncurry, Wingham, Bulahdelah, Krambach/Nabiac and Gloucester parishes.
It continues a tradition of quality secondary education in the Manning/Great Lakes Region which commenced in 1926, at Taree, by the Sisters of St Joseph.

POSITION DESCRIPTION The purpose of this position is to build and foster positive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in order to provide support to the Principal.
In this position, discretion, judgement, initiative and confidentiality are imperative at all times.
The position is to support the administrative and coordination requirements of the Principal.
The Executive Assistant also has responsibility for leadership of and day-to-day management of the Administration Support Staff.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools Exceptional interpersonal capabilities and verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace and leading a team High level of attention to detail and accuracy with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and people, often under time pressure Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks including use of Microsoft Office Programs and other relevant database programs.
Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with others.
An understanding of and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy.
Category A – Accreditation to Work QUALIFICATIONS Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number Completion of anaphylaxis training Completion of First Aid training or willingness to complete Certificate IV Business Management or equivalent experience CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2023.
